Just went out and purchased some Sandisk 4GB cards only to realise they are HC.
Before I take them back to the shop can someone confirm that the card reader WILL NOT read HC cards.
Is this correct?

With the new nav (or the AMI i'm not sure) you can have up to 32GB SDHC cards if i remember right. With the old one or without AMI you can have up to 8GB SD cards?
http://www.fourtitude.com/news/publi...cle_5095.shtml There ya go
On the back of the display, which can be folded away at the push of a button, are two slots for SD and SDHC cards with capacities of up to 32 GB. With the new 3rd Gen MMI.
It does depend on which unit is in your dash. If you have a 2009 or older, you will need the non-HC cards (usually up to 2GB cards, there are some 4GB non-HC but can be hard to find). If you have one of the newer 2010 cars with the new unit, they can handle the SDHC cards.

You put it a lot simpler than i didIt does depend on which unit is in your dash. If you have a 2009 or older, you will need the non-HC cards. If you have one of the newer 2010 cars with the new unit, they can handle the SDHC cards.![]()
Cheers guys! Mines a 2008 car so I'll stick to 2GB cards!
