    Your Most Sought After Car

Be interesting to see what cars people would love to have, besides the R8 Everyone has a certain car that they see and wish they had it, some would even trade their R8 in for a chance to have their most sought after car

Just say what car you would love to have in your collection, details about the car if you know them and post pics if you can. Then i'll list it here

I'll start it off. I would love to have a 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge!

The significant event of 1969 was the launch of a new model called 'The Judge'.Advertisements used slogans like "All rise for The Judge" and "The Judge can be bought." As originally conceived, the Judge was to be a low-cost GTO, stripped of some gimmicks to make it competitive with the Plymouth Road Runner. During its development, however, it was decided to make it the ultimate in street performance and image. The resulting package ended up being US$337.02 more expensive than a standard GTO, and included the Ram Air III engine, Rally II wheels without trim rings, Hurst shifter (with a unique T-shaped handle), wider tires, various decals, and a rear spoiler. Pontiac claimed that the spoiler had some functional effect at higher speeds, producing a small but measurable down force, but it was of little value at legal speeds except for style. The Judge was initially offered only in "Carousel Red," but late in the model year a variety of other colors became available.
The GTO was surpassed in sales both by the Chevrolet Chevelle SS396 and the Plymouth Road Runner, but 72,287 were sold during the 1969 model year, with 6,833 of them being The Judge. The rarest GTO was the Ram Air IV Judge convertible - only five were built.
I've been looking to buy this car, there's a few i have my eyes on and hoping to have one maybe by the end of this year if not then hopefully next year

Here are links to pics of The Judge, if you haven't seen it before:

I really like the old '69 mustangs convertible though but it's not something I wish I have.

great nostalgia trip, (the GTO, Mustang slipped in there while I was writing!) ('68 was the year my oldest son was born!) but have you ever driven one?

pretty primitive by today's standards, would make a Corvette feel like a Bugatti Veyron by comparison

My first car in 1978 was a 1968 GTO. Probably not the best car to buy a 17 year old but my dad had one in the 60's and loved it. Found a mint candy apple red coupe, Had the Hurst his/hers shifter and cherry bomb exhaust. Really surprised I didn't kill myself in the car, But did get me a lot of ass

BMW M1. Would not give up the R8, but would like it in the garage.

Re: Your Most Sought After Car

I always wanted a Ferrari but have never owned one. The last one on my list was the 360 Spider but now that I have the R8 coming I think this may even fall off of my lust list. I'm also a big fan of the muscle car era but I have had my '69 pace car for over 14 years now (1969 may have been the pinnacle of styling for all of the car makers back then). willyjp is right on with his comment on these cars but they are fun to look at and make great cruisers.

Re: Your Most Sought After Car

    1) Pagani Zonda
    2) Carrera GT
    3) 69' RS/SS 427 Camaro or Z28
    4) Mazda 787B (if I can toss in a racecar)

That said, if I could only have one, I would not give up the R8 for any of them.

Also, the muscle cars have been dropping down the list lately. I will always be fond of them and drove a 72' and 69' Camaro in the early 80s. Repurchasing a 69' was my plan when I got out of debt, but the prices good ones fetch are unreasonable to someone who would actually use it. Lately I have become used to the idea of a fast car with airbags, decent seat belts, ABS etc. As much as I like muscle cars, spending 50-100k on one makes no sense to me unless you collect them and put them away like coins. A 2010 Camaro/Mustang/Challenger looks like a better deal for a driver.
