R8 drive impression in German AMS

    As promissed!

Both gearboxes are excellent in short. Personal preference is a key factor in choice.

Steering is not so sharp as Porsche 997 Carrera S, but high speed stability is amazing!
Magnetic Ride works wonderfull and body movement are in complete control.
Regarding AWD only 15-30% of power is coming to the front wheels and you can feel it! R8 is despite mid-engine layout very, very friendly to drive very fast. And most importantly R8 is very friendly when ESP is in off mode. True drivers car.

More will follow in next two days...

And as an end for now here is the last sentence from the article:
"Kann eine erste Ausfahrt emotionaler enden?" Those who know German will need no translation...

The internet is a marvellous thing ... it allows us to talk about the R8 ... it lets Kreso impress us with his seemingly endless supply of information, which is first class stuff ... and it has things like translation websites where I can read the last line that Kreso sneakily left un-translated ... but having entered it into a website to get the English translation ... all I will put is ...
    Gone but not forgotten ...
VW Golf V6 4motion (does just what it says on the tin)
Vauxhall Lotus Carlton (a beast of a motorway cruiser)
Honda NSX, manual JDM (a beauty to drive anywhere)
Audi RS4, B7 saloon (awesome on any road - or track)

The interior with only the seats in mustang brown remains strange to me. Have you already seen it in real life in that configuration, kreso? How did it look?

Yes I did in Paris. IMO it is well, strange combination... Also IMHO if you choose Mustang Brown seats matching stiching is a must.
Personally I like Black from current(small) range of available interior colors.
