Not on R8 but found this. Same thing I assume since it's on a VW.

IMO, I think black piano finish is better suited on luxury type cars: bentleys, range rovers, S class, A8s, 7 series. But there again it's just my opinion.

What i've seen of them they look nice, prefer the C.F but the piano black would be good enough.

Hmmm, good point but most likely not; I'd take the piano black over the silver plastic. Have CF in mine and I think that's the best trim.

Talking about black.....how do you guys get spots or bits of debris off the OUTSIDE of your BLACK cars.....especially the really shiny black at the front and back of the V10?

Every time I go near that shiny black, I seem to get a "scratch or swirl" in the finish!

It's impossible to clean for me! What do you do????
