Quite an experience, let me tell you. Unbelievable. Big ups German boys.

For those who are familiar with routes around the USA/CANADA border, this happened on highway/route 35 heading back north; reached 148mph going South. Noticed not cops (SQ) so took a chance coming back up North.

Just decide to take the cayenne for a spin, don't drive it much anymore, always in R8.

Will emulate the experience in the R8. I ordered a camera mount for the steering wheel and will film the drive. Stay tuned!

Is this in Canada? Be careful in the US. Anything over 100 will get your car impounded & a free night in jail in most states. And the Cops are not going to call Audi Roadside Service for the flatbed...

Yes, it was on the Canadian side. I don't speed like this ever. I "just gave it a shot": it was a nice clear straight road without a single car ahead and fields of corn left and right for miles.

ps: Got a 1365$ speeding ticket in Montreal last year, believe it or not; was going 160km/h on a 70km/h (~100mph on a ~ 45 mph). Never thought a speeding ticket could exceed 1K$.

By the way and if it can help you take the "this guy's psycho" thought out of your minds, it was not reckless driving. Just pure and simple straight acceleration with head lights and hazard lights on.

Like we say in French: "Appuis sur le champignon!!!" translated to "Press on the mushroom!!!"

The Concord required an extremely long runway for takeoffs/landings. This runway is where you would be able to give her all she's got. There are sanctioned events that are probably the safest opportunity to "Let her rip! " I think I invented ..."Squash the bug!!!" to get my girlfreind to accellerate properly. She actually likes that better than "Push on the Mushroom".

While in Beirut this summer, I was told their older airport is strictly used for long drag races (À la Top Gear). Should have taken opportunity. Just didn't have the right car(s): Q7 and RR HSE. All exotics and real sport cars were all rented.

She actually likes that better than "Push on the Mushroom".
