    Good bye

    Hello dear members,

I guess everything comes an end; unfortunately. I received a call from my relative overseas informing me he'll be buying my R8 in October. I already received a deposit from him, so it's set. It really hurts I swear.

Regarding the car: It was and is I believe the best car one can drive. Truly the best handling car I've driven. Memories of 120mp exits and high revving in tunnels will never be forgotten. Let me not even get started with the attention it always got.

I'll post the many pics I have. A pro photographer will also take pics of it. Will post everything then.

Regarding this forum: I am a member of many other car forum but none, and I insist on the none, of them come even close to the level of quality of this one. All the members here are all passionate about their R8 and passion is the uniqueness here.

    Harrison, thanks for your crazy/coolness

    Willy, thanks for your knowledge

Kthacher, winter's coming, prep the R8's storage

Davey_Dee, behave and don't go nuts with your inheritance

AnOutside, Mngolfer, Randombloke, apologies once against my behavior in regards to the argument back then.

I'll keep visiting the forum once in a while to keep up with what's going on.

To all of you, I wish you the very best in everything and keep enjoying the R8 in very good health!

    Peace!

    ~ John

ps: In case you wonder what I will replace the R8 with, I am thinking about the AM DBS

    Yes, no doubt.

I initially was thinking to get the R8 V10 but I want to change, for the fun of it.

    Re: Good bye

Trust me I won't go nuts And a DBS seems like a good choice, might trade in a DB9 and get one so we can compare If lazy people would hurry up and take pics of my cars i'd post them but they've taken 2 days just to email me them! But anyway you need to comment! Gl with whatever cars you end up getting and don't forget to come back and tell us about them!

    Good luck John.

Have a good look at the build quality of that DBS before you part with your cash, it's not what you are used to!!
