Please turn down the bluetooth RINGER!!!

Anyone figure out how to make the bluetooth ringer a little bit quieter?
That **** ringer sounds like Norad trying to alert me to a missile launch!

Anyone figure out the magic for this?

London Lad came up with this but its only for Nokia's.

You can get round the loud ring problem if you use a Nokia. Just create a profile called 'R8' or what ever. Set the ring volume in that profile to a low setting. Then in the BT settings of the phone go into the pairing for the car and set the profile to use to 'R8'

LOL! I was just telling my fiance' about a post on this board after the phone scared the crap out of her this afternoon. I was impressed at just how much she jumped.

    It is ridiculously loud.

I've tried to turn the volume down when the phone hooks up to the car - as it makes it's little chime. I'm hoping that as the two connect, I'll be able to take control of the volume setting with the steering wheel's control. It works when you're talking, so why not as it connects?

And yes, I'm grabbing for straws at this point because it's always TOO **** LOUD!

I agree. Way to loud....scares the Sh** out of me every time it rings. I can turn it down as soon as it rings by using the volume control on the steering wheel but by then it is to late.

When you get another call does it go back to the default volume which is too loud or stay at the volume you changed it to? I'm guessing its the first but i'm asking anyway
