About LinkBacksHi all,
I'm planning to attend the Audi Driver track day a week Saturday. It would be nice to see a few more R8's out there. Are there any other UK members of the site planning to come along? I'll be driving my '08 R8 V8 with Milltek exhaust, APS re-map and Pagid brake pads. It should be fun, hope to see more of you there.

See you there. I'll be in my black V10, no mods except 5.1 brake fluid. 2j miles on clock,going to take it easy, tho that may change when I everything starts pumping!

Also one Sepang V10 for the morning session...........
Mike: You will be shocked with insurance quotes for stand alone cover.
My track policy is integrated with my road policy, but the excess for track use is 10% of vehicle value!Last edited by R8 England; 10-02-2009 at 02:42 PM.

Hey, Will be great to meet you guys and see the V10's in the flesh and on the track. I went for the 'immediate gratification' on the V8 but have had the V10 on my mind ever since. Wait list probably a lot shorter now.

My original insurance cost was £560, with a £1000 excess, so not a bad result.

It seems you are being treated fairly by your insurance co. I , am personally insured by LLoyds of London...Funny huh !!

I don't get it? Lloyds is a pill?? And one of the strongest insurance companies in the world. Another U.K. feat.
