About LinkBacksI found an R8 buddy and took him to my usual desert run he owns an R tronic with no mag ride. Except from to be honest awful exprience of driving this car in R tronic tran the steering was also very light same as I felt in the v10 i drove which was also r tronic. Can it be the audi make different sterring for manual and r trinic?

Not sure why they would change steering just for a different transmission.

May be it has to do with driving 2 hands in the Rtronic versus 1 hand in the manual.

I was replying to this...
So you use both hands when driving no matter what the transmission.May be it has to do with driving 2 hands in the Rtronic versus 1 hand in the manual.

At both track sessions I have attended the instructors are emphatic that the correct hand positions are 3:00 and 9:00 Originally Posted by harrison

FWIW I have driven both MT and R-Tronic and I have not noticed any difference in the steering.
