B&O and other "must-have" accessories ?

Hi AUDI R8 Owners,
I'll place the order for my R8 this week and do not want to miss the right accessory. Is the B&O sound system a must or is standard audio equipment sufficient ? what other accessory do you really recommend (homelink ?, bluetooth ?, cruise control,... ?). From my experience on my BMW650i, I almost never used the cruise control or the 6-CD charger... Thanks for your advises. Dominic

The reversing camera, magnetic ride, B&O if you like better quality, SD cards are sufficient but you can get Audi Music Interface for no extra cost over the CD changer. B&O is standard on the V10 so i take it your going for a V8?

Thanks Davey, yes, V8 is enough for me. Magnetic ride, homelink, internal extra lighting and acoustic parking system will be surely choosen.

The premium package includes magnetic ride, homelink, internal lighting, etc. I think it is a must.

I have a friend with a 2008 R8. The only option he ordered was NAV because they made him order it. He is VERY disappointed with the standard sound system and no homelink. He does not know what he is missing since his car is the only one he has been in.

If you have someone in your area with a car with all options that could give you a ride it would be worthwhile to ride/drive a car with all the options to see which ones you like.

Advanced parking system is the one with the reversing camera if i remember right, it has acoustic sensors with that also.

There was a thread about these not long ago, somebody said they look good but aren't comfy i think, i stick with what i said about the extra airbag, i'd rather have comfy seats and an extra air bag than seats that look better. Bucket seats don't look better imo anyway.

it's a standard seats for audi A3/A4

standard and comfort seats on a supercar IMHO is very very ugly

BTW on V10 it's a MUST HAVE...
