What does this mean? Insurance or buying the car itself?
Yes buying the car.
I had a low 700's score (not to mention many previous paid-off loans with them) and Audi wouldn't do it. Ended up buying it from them flatout and refinancing it.
Thats true I have no idea what......means LolI had a low 700's score
Credit history is big in America. More and more people are using it for rating a person. Emmediatly shows flakiness. Model citizens with great credit ratings get treated much better than the losers. With time, BAD credit CAN be repaired. It can take YEARS. Have good credit and save it for an emergency...That's how I roll. And if you are smart you can use other peoples' money (credit) to make yourself profits.(PAYING INTEREST OF COURSE TO the LENDERS).![]()

Even if you were in the USA, I'm not sure you'd have a credit rating until you're 18. They say that optimal credit history is 7 years, so it'd be 25 until you'd have a great rating anyhow.

While I can see how it would seem like you're judging people at first sight, it's still a great tool I think. I mean, as a lender, how do you KNOW who is good borrower and who isn't? Without some sort of credit reference you'd seriously be crazy to loan anyone large amounts of money.
