Price for Spyder now showing on UK Audi site

Good morning,

The Price for the R8 V10 Spyder is now showing on the UK site and is set lower than i was led to believe which is good news! its set at £109,580 OTR

I had a letter from Jeremy Hicks Director of Audi UK on 14th Sept confirming my order and advising to go into the showroom on 1st Nov to spec my order up, in this letter he quotes the OTR price as £110,915 and the press had been quoting £112,000.

Can everyone order on the 1st Nov or is it only people like you who've had a deposit down for a long time? I'm deciding whether to order here or in the US atm, when Audi get back to me about having my V10 LHD that will make my mind up

You can order now, mine was speculative about 2.5 years ago before they would say if they would or wouldnt me making it, i am told there is a 1 year waiting list so would be a good idea to put your name down, i put a £1000 deposit down which i know they will ask me to increase when i go in and spec up, i think it may be better value in the USA, but i do think you will wait longer as its being launched here first.

I was thinking 'order it where it comes first' and I'll be wanting it in LHD so if Audi get back to me and say my V10 can be changed to LHD without changing options then i'll be doing the same thing with the Spyder

Got good news, V10 will be changed to LHD So will be ordering a LHD Red Spyder on 1st Nov
