Couldn't resist, ordered the Spyder today

Just got back from Germany and the Spyder looks better in the flesh than it does in pictures. The little microphones in the seatbelts so you can use the phone on the move with the top down are very cool. Another long wait in prospect !!

What colour did you see? Did you get told how long the wait would be?

I was at the factory and it was that unusual brown metallic which I am NOT keen on. No date yet but likely to be a about 12 months or so as there's lots of lucky people ahead of me sadly....

Well atleast I'll have my V10 'soon' so the wait won't be too bad And I did get told when I ordered it the wait would be into Spring 2010, guess that changes a lot because of cancellations

Any pics grabbed Ian? I'm considering the Spyder, but I think my V8 still has a lot to give (SC, TT, new CF bits). I don't even think you can order them here in the USA yet

Sadly not, banned cameras and phones. I plan to keep my V8 in any case as IMHO it has better handling balance.

Llllloooonnnngggg wait, but thanks ;-) I'll probably go a bit wilder on the interior this time, copped out with the V8 and went black as they locked the spec while I was prevaricating (it's OK forum moderators that's not a rude word). Thinking of going two tone this time, plenty of time to find a dealer with an Exclusive presenter.
