R8 vs 911 GT3

Can you advice me what car is better. My favorite choices are:
R8

Why don't you go on the Lambo forum and ask what's better, a Gallardo or an F430? Same result!

I have driven both and own neither so at least I'm objective. The GT3 is harder, faster and totally uncompromising in its objectives: to lap a circuit as quickly as possible. Full stop. The R8 is an utterly different beast - fast and capable yes but far more comfortable and forgiving and (IMHO) better looking, both outside and (especially) inside. If it's your only car or you intend to use it every day, get the R8 - it really is a no-brainer. If you can afford a nice road car and an expensive trackday beast on the side, buy the GT3 and bring it out on special occasions. Personally, unless you can afford a fleet of marvellous cars, I don't see the point in spending the majority of your budget on something you hardly use. Life is too short.

I've owned both a GT3 and an RS, still have the R8.

You just can't compare the two cars, they are apples and oranges. It depends on the purpose of the cars. Both top notch for what they do. One of each would be perfect pair.
