new and just bought

Hi Everyone,
just new to this forum and just purchased a used 2008. I'm Canadian and am importing one from the US.
Just wanted to drop a line and say hi. It gets delivered to my friend in NJ at the end of the month and after I receive the Title, I will drive it up to Toronto by mid november. Can't wait, even though it'll be sitting in the garage for the winter. The guy who sold it to me is also giving the 2 frame artwork he received. One is a drawing of the R8 and numbered, and the other is of the Le Mans R8 race car signed by the Le Man's drivers.

2008, 12000 miles.
White w/Silver blades. 6 speed, B&O, Nav and Alcantara head liners.

I know its used, but still very happy!

Thanks and will definately keep that in mind. But I highly doubt I'll be making a trip anywhere, since my wife recently had our first baby (a girl). I feel guilty leaving her for the day to pick up the car in NJ. hahaha, maybe not that guilty.

If you are ever in Toronto, please give me a shout and we'll definately get together.

With our strong dollar sure makes importing from the US an option to consider especially on a used one..

Actually it didn't really matter to me so much, since i get paid in American dollars (so no good these days).

yes, i'll be importing the vehicle myself. I'm waiting for a new title to be sent in my name (3 weeks) then making the trip to drive it back. I know that I have to fax all the info to the US customs a min of 3 days before i go, which isn't the concern.

But can't wait to get it home.
