Screw this! R8 rocks!

Hello again fellas,

As you may already know, my R8 is sold and is about to be shipped overseas first week of November. I was looking to replace it with a AM DBS (after the winter).

I've been away and haven't drive the R8 for a while. My God I missed it!!! So much so that I don't want to sell it again (but it's too late).

I don't know why I complained about the R-Tronic or the lack of daily practicality. There are other cars for that!

I am thinking to get the V10 version instead.

What do you guys think?

DBS or R8 V10? I know dumb question. Obvious answer. I drove a friend's AM Vantage this weekend and I was going very fast; it didn't have the "tank" grounded feel the R8 has. It made me wonder a lot.

Just give me your thoughts regardless of what it is.

R8 v10 of course, then you can come to the Kingston luncheon I'm gonna arrange next summer for all R8s in Ontario/Quebec/New York

Haven't test driven the DBS yet. I was suppose to this past Thursday but something came up.

I test drove a 09 Bentley Continental GT and GT Speed on Friday. Wholy mother of God! I preferred the GT Speed and that's what I am getting this week.

It was nimble and quick in response. Was not expecting that. Let's not talk about power and comfort: perfect.

Look and feels like a tank. Love it.

Not only he parked on handicapped parking but he took 4 of them. Not sure where it is (it says at a Costco ). I saw this R8 at a red light in my R8 on Notre-Dame. I waved saying "hi", the douche looked back pissed off and then looked away. I remembered him from the "WHQ" from his plate.

If this happened in the US, the car would be towed. Canada is weak sauce.

If you're going to get any AM, it should be the V12 Vantage, not the DBS. DBS has a better interior, but the V12 Vantage is really the way to go. Cheaper top, I think.

Still, V10 R8 will school both of those if you want a sports car. Chip it for LP560 power and you'll be set. And if you want more power, there should be a TT for it soon to make insane power.
