I need instructions on how to unplug the gas pedal so I may try the Sprint Booster chip.

Re: How to diconnect wire plug at gas pedal??

This is what he said in the other thread.

I did get my hands on the Bently pages... after the dealer helped me out. A hidden bolt under a cover, special tools, etc. not as easy as I thought it would be. Easy once you know the tricks. Anyways, My R8 /R-tronic is now truly ALIVE. NO extra H.P. just quicker throttle response that I so desparately wanted. Now I must get new shoes ASAP as the extra throttle in a turn was breaking all four loose. This is the kind of fun I have been missing for a whole year of ownership. TWO THUMBS UP. Especially with the filter kit,and exhaust. I think I have a car that will get a little more respect now !!!!!!!!! I CAN'T say if this would be perfect on a manual trans, or the V10, but I am a happy camper. Maybe it's not the best on all makes/models, but the Sprint Booster sure gave my car a kick in the gas !! My part #SBAU0053. 362.92 and worth every penny.(so far, unless something now fails miserably) Must be removed before going to dealer for service. Easy to remove. Will keep you posted.Sorry D.D. for not keeping it short. Time to think @ remapping,S.charging and NITROUS.
LL, no matter how fast you stomp the throttle, it is controlled by the computer. You do realise that the throttle is PURE electronics? A potentiometer? When you throw a rev at a freind don't you notice the LAG ??, as in DELAY????????????? this delay is gone now. I drove the car for a whole year before trying this out. Audi kept your throttle slow to keep some of us alive a little longer. JUST A SAFETY ISSUE. And the clutch MIGHT last a little longer with the SLOWER responce time. I don't know how to explain this any better.I just hope a manual trans owner tries it, likes it, and confirms what I am experiencing. Piece OUT. Now I will learn about re-mapping and keeping the Booster in combination. I'll bet the more expensive re-map does the exact sme thing to the throttle. Do you agree? hence you would be cotradicting yourself. The faster you mash your flipper does'nt prevent the millisecond lag that's built into system. Thanks for tring to understand.
