Just been to the dealer to 'visit'my new car

Hi all,

Well I have just been down to my dealer to have a look at my new car.

I'm very happy!

The silver and CF blades go very well and I love the black insert and diffuser at the rear which really stand out and make the rear of the car look wider.

The V8 style wheels look good and the light grey alcatara head lining makes the cabin look a lot brighter and more 'open'.

The AMI iPhone connection is in a little box where the CD changer would have been.

Its just got to be PDI'ed and have the tracker and CF mirrors fitted, but due to commitments I won't get round to picking it up till Wednesday

Bet you can't wait till Wednesday then What colours did you get the interior apart from the headliner?

Hi Davey,

Black extended leather, CF and contrasting stitching. The stitching was a bit of a waste as there only seems to be about a foot of it!

Where is the stitching? I ordered the grey stitching on mine.

I thought ther would be miles of contrasting stitching?

Ideally it would be everywhere there is stitching, I wasn't asked where I wanted the contrasting stitching when we ordered so I just assumed it would be everywhere A foot of it would be what? A tiny line on the side of a seat

There is none on the seats at all!

I only sat in the car for a minute or two and was really looking at the iPhone AMI thingy but all I could see was a line of it on the passenger side leg bolster on the transmition tunnel and some on the hatch at the rear of the centre console where the phone adaptor sits.

Sounds lame, but it is only £165 I think.

P.S. I ordered black stitching, grey is on my luggage...so easy to get confused

Congrats and I don't know how you can wait that long!
My car is sitting at my partner's house waiting for me to pick it up and drive it back to Canada and that's in another 25 days!
