Build a race track-people will come!

When they built TALLADEGA SUPERSPEEDWAY in the middle of no-where the thought was...People will come. In Arizona there are several desert tracks in the middle of the desert. No wonder KfabR8 is coming out to the Az, There is still SOME freedom here too.. No helmet law, pack a pistol if you want... but the horse,offroad,dirt veh.s,drag strips,etc. etc. it's all here.reminds me of what Cali. was like when I was a younger kid.(still a kid)

I discovered AZ right at 10 years ago when I was doing a stadium off road racing series. One of the stops was in Phoenix at the Bank One Ball Park and it happened that the place that made most of my race car was there too.

Have been going out anywhere from 2 to 6 times a year since.

There's nothing that compares (at least for me) to racing across desert terrain as fast and hard as you can go.

E-ticket air!! How many bounces after touch down?? My Yamaha YZF 426 MOTOCROSS MACHINE, has an Az. license plate, thus I can really explore. People drive their Quads on the city streets. But not as crazy as seeing a dirt Quad on the AUTOBAHN (Stuttgart area) hauling ass.

No bounce what so ever. Nice downside landing on a 70' table top.

426, eh? Love starting that beast, don't ya! I've had three of them - last one was set up for playing in the desert. Been all over the area around northern and eastern Phoenix on the bike, in a small single seater and the race car. I love it out there.

My next project is a pre-runner and it will be street legal and licensed in AZ.

Well, I have 'till the 11th to register...so, am planning this IN. Should I get the R888s, P Zeros, Ps2s or the Hankooks??? Time for brake fluid change , This time I am asking you, Desparado, what your experience says. Am I O.k. with the Miltek ?

Desparado, What version of the track do I study? Do we hit the course again in reverse? Saferacer.com has the right stuff. My cost of 425 includes the instructor ? I see another charge of 175.00. What is that about? I'm a little unclear on the tech inspect time/day. Thanks.

Here is the track, it is "Race #1", and we only run it Clockwise. Note that North is down on this map, opposite to the common convention. This northern hemisphere guy finds it very confusing...
