    Carbon Sigma side blades

...are little bit lighter then normal aluminium side blades. Difference is not big-around 1kg all in all! But, it is good to know.

Also IMHO Carbon Sigma side blades look the best with Daytona Grey, Ice Silver and Phantom Black. Brilliant Red and Ibis White are choice for brave ones!

Check those guys out, might spare you the extra hours of work

They say they might have the CF blades at $1800 per blade, not too bad.

    Re: Carbon Sigma side blades

Hi, I have carbon sideblades as well, on Daytona Gray.

One problem I found is that they get easly chipped on the front hedge by small stones projected from front wheels.

Carbon is very strong as structural material but does not widthstand very well small concentrated impacts on the surface.

I also guess it is impossible to repair....start to consider it a very costly option, if you have to add replacement cost to the initial option cost.

    Anybody having the same issue?

Pre-order your carbon blades from Elite Carbon and receive a 20% discount. Pre-order sales is only available until the parts are in production and then they are sold at retail.

what my friends have done is that have clear paint 3M protection film over the carbon parts to withstand the chipping...

Mine are still ok at the moment, but I like the idea of protective film as you can't exactly just get a respray can you??

Not a current pic, but they don't look any different to this now.
