Tonight the only veh. worth racing was an R1 with Akrapovic exh. He could'nt hook up off the line. I COULD. Nice feeling going through the gears with a murdercycle doing a LONG wheelie (135 MPH on PCH ,Huntington Beach, Cali.) along side my drivers window. C-YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It seemed safe at the time. NO cops visible.They like to hide. It would have probably been jail for me and the scooter would have gotten clear.

Harrison, youve got some bottle, especially for an insurance man! i was driving from South Carolina last week to Florida and got two tickets ( in a hire car with family on board ) got caught doing 93 in a 70 and then 150 miles further got another ticket in Florida, threw the book at me but as i was a tourist they let me off with 140 dollar fine on each, only problem now is how i pay as cops wouldnt take payment there and then, tried to pay on line but its not working, oh well, they will have to come and get it!!

In August some mates of mine from Chicago came over for one of our boys driving trips, 7 cars, we drove from Manchester to John O Groats Northern Scotland along some Top Gear roads and all round Scotland at speeds at times in excess of 150 mph, luckily no tickets or bans, i was however chasing a superbike at 130 mph at one stage until he hit a bump and **** himself, something fell off his bike, broke up and hit under my Maserati & screen, later, when we stopped i found what was left of a cell phone smashed and embedded into my grill, also have a cracked screen and scratched hood, £1,400 later i decided to look at his sim card so i could send him a bill but couldnt read it!! oh well, all good fun

I grew up in HB. Have you seen the Police Dept? A lot of my HS chums had several personal tours of the inside while "growing up" (fortunately, not me). It's a fortress - really scary for a teenage kid!

oh, i miss my R1, hence my username. I was the first in Canada to have a deposit on a '98 blue, but decided to switch to the red/white. My buddy still has #1 or is it #2 in the red/white, don't remember. Love that bike so much, it was just awesome..

Hoping to say the same about the car in 17 days!

Come to think of it my FZR1000 was almost like the R8. KING of the road.I also ride an R1.
