my r8 just developed "juderring" at low speed manouvering
seems to be getting worse
audi seem to think its normal
anyone have any experience/answer to this

When you say low speed, do you mean while manouvering? If so, yes it is normal, big tyres-lots of caster- lots of camber (when in lock), 4 wheel drive diff wind-up = 'juddering' I tend to notice it most on my brick interlock drive as the tyre endges dig in to the gaps. Spin the wheels and you won't notice it ;-)

Like Ian said , SPIN the tires! . I am in the process of destroying my old tires.Click off ESP and turn/punch it. Spins like a top on ice.(Tops are an ancient wooden toy, round, and a string is wrapped arond it, then thrown inducing a fast spin).

The vibration you feel at low speeds when the wheel is almost at lock is perfectly normal for the Audi Quartro - IF - you don't need power steering fluid. My S4 did the same thing. Just try to avoid turning at full lock. Search the web, there are numerous articles on this AWD behavior.

I have to RUIN the tires ASAP as I have to purchase the new tires, heat cycle them and let them sit before Thursdays session at Buttonwillow. I recorded some of the spins. Will post later. Back to thread...Does the Quatro Manual act up in tight lock to lock manuevers too?

I have a steering problem, Cuz I watch too much Monster Trucks on Telly and I like to freestyle.
