thinking about buying a used r8 - service question

i'm in the nyc metro area and have been salivating over the r8 ever since it came out. a used 09 is for sale at the local dealer for what appears to be a reasonable price. almost all of the customer traffic at this dealer is looking for family sedans or suvs. since i would want to keep the car for at least 4 yrs is there any way i could check to see if they could service the r8 in a competant way?

You could check (via the Audi USA website) to see if that dealership is an R8 authorized dealer. If they are it means that they have a service bay and a trained/certified mechanic for the R8. If not, you might want to find another place to have it serviced.
