Chump Car comes to PIR!

Every sports car enthusiast, and I apply this especially to some of us (I'll take the rap here....I'm still a little uptight about my R8!), overly an*l R8 owners, ought to consider getting into THIS!

Racing with no worries! no problems! just have fun! THIS kind of racing would loosen us all up a bit about taking our R8s to the track, where we sometimes erroneously think the R8 is made of glass! Harrison, I think this racing was made for you!

Chump Car just recently ran in Portland @ P.I.R. and a blast was had by all. No $500 junker R8s yet, but some of the stuff really ran fast! The cars are limited to an original retail cost of $500 BEFORE race safety enhancements to brakes, running gear, tires, safety gear (roll cages, etc.). This is similar to the "24 Hrs. of LeMons" concept, though here there was a 12 hr. AND a 24 hr. enduro class running side by side.

Check this out guys! This will loosen up the "boy racer" in us all!

Willy, I have come to the realization that tracking the R 8 is very cool. Especially going to a local track...Check the oil, fill her with gas and go tear it up PROPER. No trailer,no worries!! It really is the ultimate race car for its' price range. The most fun you can have with your pants zipped up!
