    Drenched!

I had my car G-Techiq'd (a sort of teflon coating) and when it has been raining, I open the door, get in, the car settles[:-)] and I get a bath before I can shut the door. Is it just because I am over-nutricianed or is it a design flaw ;-)
    Best Regards, Ian

Bring a shamy to wipe down the car before you get in. It will be more difficult when you need to use the shamy before you get out.

;-) It comes down to the lip on the roof being so shallow, the carbon fibre on the roof has helped, but not much...

My favourite is getting into the car on a rainy morning and then opening the windows to reverse out of my drive. With the window opening comes a waterfall into the car It's taught me to use the camera in those conditions.

By the way, SoCal members can be forgiven for not understanding what we are talking about ;-)

Talking of the camera I don't find that as useful as I thought it might be - mine seems to have fairly poor contrast in certain lights and a big drip of rain seems to hang over the lens when it is raining. Great showroom toy though !

I too have never experienced any of this
Though the camera really loses almost all detail when you're reversing from a bright area into a dark area..

Nope, you get drenched in sand instead ;-)

Re bright sunlight - yes thats one of the situations - I'd like a setting to adjust the contrast but I think the camera is a little too crude for the car. I might investigate a replacement, something with better iris control.

Interesting, my camera seems to cope well in any conditions. I find it incredibly useful.

Me too, I guess I am being slightly picky - it's just on a couple of occaisions depending on light conditions it has been really hard to see - it is amazing how you come to rely on gadgets I guess.. (see my mispellings, so used to Word autocorrecting...)

    Re: Drenched!

I agree the camera pic could be better quality but I find it very useful and I am amazed at how accurate the 'wheel lines' are.
