New name for the R8 V10!

Well it took forever, but I finally got my custom license plates from the State of Oregon. The order was sent in as this: VEE (Tree Picture in middle) TEN

(Oregon State plates have multiple styles, one of which has a green tree in the center.)

My plates came through as this: VEETEN, with the tree in the middle but not in it's own space as ordered. Oh well.......so now the new name of the R8 V10 is the "Veet-in"!!!

AOA can now change their brouchures and have 2 R8 models....the R8, and the R8 Veet-in!!! To make it easier to print, just call it the R8 Vtin

Do personal plates ever come as ordered? I think it was Harrison who ordered 'Razor 8' and it didn't come with the space?

I spotted a Vauxhall Corsa with my number plates on it - V10 MAB - in traffic yesterday. The traffic was a slow herd of cows on a single track road, so I had plenty of time to consider my move. I stopped him at the ferry, gave him my mobile number and asked if he would sell it to me. He said not over his wife's body which had recently passed away, but he might leave it to me in his will. Nice!

Reminds me of a fine suit that I spotted in a tailors in Inverness, and had fitted for me. The previous incumbent had died in it at Xmas dinner and the family had sold it back to the tailor. Also nice!

I didn't waste the suit but what a waste of a plate on a Corsa

hahahaha bloody hell Mike!!! 1st of all the plate disaster, and then the dead mans suit!!! hahaha i agree, wasted on the Corsa, but bless him for considerin ya for his will!!
