Shifter sqeaking

Anyone out there with a 6MT car having an issue with sqeaking when shifting?? My stick shifts squeaks when moving through the metallic gates.

What a hell are you saying!! I'm not in your car interior right now, so if you want to know if you have a problem 1st tell exactly what happens!

How many kms does your car have?

When did it starded doing noise?

Does it come from the leaver itself or beneath it?

Any problems enganging any gear? or just annoiyng sound?

I have it. Very slight and not consistant. started at about 6K miles.

The R8 has a lot of squeeks, must get annoying

Lots of noises, the squeak you describe (for me its the lever going thru the gates) I got recently at 1600 miles and then the rattle from the rear which has been checked several times and audi has ordered replacement brake lights is a service item many others have had but yes car has lots of little noises, not a big deal just a pain to bring to the dealer and lose car or a day or 2.

the squeak is coming from the gear lever itself as it moves through the gate. The car is a 2009 with approx 1200 miles. It shifts fine, just noisy.

I dont have one squeak or anything, which is good because littlest of noises annoy the bejesus out of me, and would probably result in me getting rid of it.

I have 12,000 kms on mine, and I'm not easy on it either

So the rubber is just touching the metal plate everytime you shift. Wich shouldn't, but will happen in many R8's man. Make your dealer fix it, it's very simple to do so..
