I know this topic has been covered but the posts were old and I wanted to see if anyone has any new info. My R8 policy is renewing in January with no rise in premium. Im in NY, 20+ years driving with a clean record. I have STATED VALUE coverage with a $140,000 value, not Actual Cash Value (ACV) Its $2350/year with a $2500 deductible. I dont think Im getting hammered but it's not the deal of the year, either. The insurer is Hagerty. ACV vs Stated value can create large differences in premium. An ACV policy on a car like this is asking for trouble, in my opinion.
Im sure many pay less and some pay more. The regional differences in pricing of coverage can be substantial and the ACV vs. stated value creates large swings, too. I'm trying to see who I would attempt to quote it with and put together a list. If you would share the name of the company you have, the state you're in and the premium (if you care to share)... it would be a great resource for me, others on the site and future owners
Thanks
