Does the R-Tronic tranny blip the throttle on downshifts?

I have been wondering this for a while now......does an automatic equipped R8 rev-match on downshifts, ala the newer dual clutch transmissions or the single clutch Lexus LFA?

BTW, when will the next gen R8 arrive and will we have to wait till then for a proper dual clutch transmission?

I hope the next gen R8 will continue to use a V10 as I love everything about that motor.

The computer sure does blip the throttles. 90 M.S. shifts are plenty fast enough. Need faster ? If you want something better than the current R-Tronic , go spend 330,000K for the Ferrari Scuderia.

Or the GTR. Or the M3 PDK. Or the.... You get the point, there are lots of trannies out there which outperforms the R8 V8s. The V10 has a much better transmission, almost superb!

the r-tronic is a single clutch automated manual too - it's not a torque converter automatic.

Several upgrades have been done. It is like comparing a 07 Gallardo to a LP560. I've driven both and my own Superleggera for thousands od miles, BIG difference.
