I have been an Acura NSX lover ever since the car came out. Sadden that it was discontinued without a replacement, but thank god Audi came along with the R8. I know this isn't the NSX replacement, and currently Honda has no plans to make one, but on this picture alone, it's **** sweet!

I've had two NSXs, and they really were (still are?) great sportscars. My whole reasoning behind getting an R8 now is, to be honest, 50% motivated by my belief that it's a more contemporary interpretation of the same philosophy that spawned the NSX all those years ago.

Though I'm not particularly taken with the look of the car above, I'm very curious to learn more about their plans for that engine.

I hear the NSX handles too. I know the engine well because my buddy has the same engine in an older Acura Legend. The little V-tek V 6 has an amazing powerband. Similar to the R 8 V8.(not in power but delivery) This car made me start respecting the Rice burners makes. Up till then I even thought the NSX might suck. WRONG. And at the Monterey Concorso Italiano (non Italiano section) the NSX turnout was fantastic. Us R 8s were stationed right next to the NSXs. These were probably some of the nicest NSXs in the world.

Ditto, I totally agree what that.

I believe that the car above isn't truly a NSX successor, but a totally different sportscar by Honda.

Had a B16A VTEC in the desert car, but nothing from the NSX. I have no experience with anything NSX.

I'm an NSX owner, and I agree with you guys 100%. I got the R8 because it's what the next NSX should have been, and Honda is no longer in the state of mind to build a car that truly inspires passion like the NSX did and the R8 does.

Last October I went to the national NSX convention which included track days at Mosport. I brought the R8 and gave a ride on the track to the president of the NSX club. Here's a video of it, in the 2nd half of the video he provides some interesting comments.

The R8 is such a tremendous car, it's turned my NSX into a garage queen. I have no real desire to drive it much when there's an R8 sitting next to it. Kinda sad, but true.
