Followed Home

The weather was nice enough (about 40 degrees F) and recent rain had washed the salt off the roads, so I took the R8 out for some errands.

On the final main road home, a guy in a Pontiac G8 turned to follow me. He accelerated to catch up and followed me as I turned into my neighborhood. Turn after turn, he followed me. Odd, as I didn't recognize the car as one of my neighbors.

I circled the cul-de-sac on which my home sits and he followed me there.

I ended up pulling into my garage but afterwards wondered if I should have stopped, gotten out, and asked if I could help him -- and then taken a cell phone photo of his license plate.

Has anyone else ever been followed home?

(Home is fully alarmed, including the outside garage door, two dogs, ample ammunition ... :-) )

No..but i would feel a bit paranoid

I have had that problem before when driving customer cars. I'll usually stop at a coffee shop or some other public spot and let the person either approach to discuss the car or leave on their own.

I've not been followed home but I've been followed into many parking areas and have had people pull up to my shop, get out and start playing 20 q's.

I always try to be as nice and gracious in answering questions as possible.

I'm definitely used to the parking lot discussion. Happens all the time, and I'm more than happy to let people take pictures of the car and answer any questions they have.

Being follow home was a first.

And since the guy who followed me was in a G8, at least I know he was a car guy.
