Need an opinion... on a V10 of a different kind

I have a pretty unique opportunity to get out of my A8 a full 8 months early and into a 2008 S6 with just 6200 miles. The 6 is equipped with the 5.2 V10 we love so much in the newest R8's. Its a great color combination in Ibis/Grey leather with CF optioned interior.

Anyone drive a S6? Anyone have the S8 with that engine?

We have driven plenty of S8 what that motor and a few S6. The S8 is smooth and strong and the S6 is a beast. If you can do it, don't be shy...

Im going to be getting an S6 this summer in Germany. Currently im on a waiting list for that car, so if you can wait till summer i can tell you

My wife's car is a 2009 S6, and she absolutely loves it. Her previous car was an A6 with the 4.2 V8. We've never driven the A8 as she always thought it was too big a car. She loves its mid-size and the sound/power/smoothness of the V10. Interestingly, she gets about the same mileage. No regrets.

I say go for it.
