Hello,
New to the forum and a soon to be owner of and R8. Just curious, have an 2008 R8 R-Tronic located in Florida for 95K with 8ooo miles.
Is that on par with what you owners have seen?
Thanks

Sounds like a good deal. Does it have the carbon options and B&O Sound?
09 R8 - Red w/ CF blade
That's a very good deal IMO
I have a 2008 with R-tronic and more miles - a dealer here was going to give me roughly $115,000 US for it..
The options include:
B&O upgrade
Navigation Plus
Premium Package
No Carbon fiber
One owner and serviced at dealer where purchased and now resides on consignment. Was traded in for a V10.
Thanks for the responses.
I'm not sure what the US 'packages' include but it sounds a good deal especially from a main Audi dealer.
Regards, Graham.

Price sounds good...imho
If not being bought from reputable dealer with warranty intact ( preferably one that sold and serviced the car) I would spend the $$$ on a PPI..I have seen Ford GTs trashed at 3K miles and others in perfect condition at 20K miles..I spent 1500.00 checking out my GT and identified items that reduced the purchase price $3K even though they were not critical. If not already done, have a dealer run the service history to share with you? Warranty work performed & repairs done must be available to you...
Good Luck. You will love the R8.

The dealer has sent me the service records on file. From what is states, there was a 5K service done, two wash/details and Engine/powertrain computer/module reprogrammed. They have sold and serviced this car. I was told the previous owner buys a car from them every 6 months and takes very good care of them. Of course, they are not going to say the opposite when trying to sale any car.

Sounds good..buying a car every 6 months is certainly different but the records should tell all..sounds like a good deal. They obviously have a close relationship with previous owner..Maybe they will intro you to the owner...
Good Luck.
ps-my "cautious behavior" is a result of a prior experience..I once got my head handed to me on a car purchase.Ever since then I always tell everyone ..when buying used ...do your homework !
Best of luck.
Seems very cheap to me, maybe this price would be right for a manual, but an R Tronic? even working on a Ł - $ rate of 1.60 its about Ł5k to Ł7k under what i would expect to pay in the UK, as Stuart says, do your homework first & be careful
