As posted in a previous thread a British team will be entering a pair of £267,000 race-spec R8s in the 2010 British GT Championship, what a smart paint job on the racing R8 below, would look even better with the Union Jack on it though!

Leeds-based United Autosports took 23 race victories around Europe in their maiden season last year. This year as well as competing in the European GT3 Championship, the team will be bringing the good-looking GT racers to the full suite of UK tracks on the British GT championship's 2010 calendar. Round 1 is at Oulton Park on 5th April on a weekend shared with British F3, the 'stepping stone' formula that has previously hosted several future F1 drivers including Ayrton Senna and Jensen Button, i might try and make this event.
