New Owner

I am almost too excited to sleep now that I finally closed a deal on a used R8!
After a few months of reading post and looking for the right car, it is being shipped this weekend. I wanted to express my gratitude to all the R8 owners on this forum for all the information and insight regarding these amazing cars.

Now info on the car:
2008 Daytona Gray/Silver Blade R tronic
8700 miles one owner
Black Interior
Premium Package
Audi Navigation Plus
Bang & Olufsen
Leather and Alcantara Seats
Paid $95,000

Car is in mint condition and was pampered by previous owner who traded in for V10.

well done Bellaire, at first i didnt like the 'standard option' of half leather laf alcantara, but now i'm thinking i prefer it?

A few more pics. I was concerned as well with Leather/Alcantara but figured it might be a little more tolerable than full leather in the Texas heat.

Thank you. I found this car at an Audi Dealer in the Northeast. The original owner bought this car new and traded in at this dealer for the V10 model. All services and routine checks were done there as well so I am pretty confident with the car history. Maybe the original owner is on this forum???
I actually had a few offers for "corporate cars" with higher milage and about the same price point. But the history on such cars is hard to trace.

Welcome - Well bought! I have the full leather and enjoy it but if (when?) I do it over again, I would be tempted to do Alcantara with the headliner and wheel. The Alcantara headliner is really nice, adds significantly to the acoustic properties of the cabin but looks a little inconsistent with the extended leather.

Just spoke with Audi and it will be shipping out Monday so I will post some pics...after I take it on a Hill Country drive in Austin
Forgot to add that the car also had the Audi Care package as well so no maintenance cost for the duration of the warranty.

R84ME, I thought about the Alcantara wheel but decided against it as Audi advise that it wears quickly?
