Initial Impression: VF Supercharged R8 V8

I've just returned from the first drive, wow! The car is seriously fast, pulling with amazing urgency. The roads are dry and the sky clear and the car was kicking in the traction control at 50 mph in third gear! That was a surprise. I can tell I'm going to have to be careful until I get used to this one. Needless to say, I'm very pleased as the car now pulls like a mule and feels even faster than my 911 TT. Thanks Nik and VF.

Time for us to coordinate a trip to Australia with a few of these in our bags. Conm, I know there are some others down there wishing they could have purchased a V10. Any interest in a visit??

A few answers to comments: The power comes on very smoothly but you don't really feel the "difference" to stock until in the mid RPM range, say 4,000 upwards. Then it really grabs and on full throttle shifts it is jerkier, probably due to the increased power. The exhaust on the car is a Milltek non-resonated which Nik says sounds very similar to the Stasis a lot of US guys are running. I think it sounds great.
