I saw the brown one at the Chicago Auto show. It didn't quite blow me away, as I love having the engine on display. Also, the "cab-forwardness" and the thickness of the hanks is even more exagerrated than in the coupe.

Also, the seats back right up to the folding top well, so there is no storage space in the car other than up front.

That's my impression too. I think it looses a lot as a cab, just like so many other 2-door coupes. There's just nothing unusual or unique looking about it, IMO. Perhaps Audi marketing senses this too since they are back-pedaling with a cheaper V-8 version now.

Rubbish, it’s going to be this year’s car to have, no back peddling from Audi at all, why would Audi back pedal, is the V8 production confirmed by Audi? even if it is, how is this back peddling? there is a 1 year waiting list for the Sypder, Audi only expect to sell a small percentage of these compared to the coupe version so it will be very exclusive, I have been approached by several dealers & private buyers to part with my production slot but no way, not even for a £10K quick profit.

One thing I do agree on is, Chocolate brown is a big no no, along with beige, there must be method in Audis madness as i saw a couple today driving a Q5 in Choc colour, Nooooooo!

Initial reports from Audi were the cab was only being offered in V10 form. The V8 dialog came about as a way for Audi to compete for sales at $30k less than the V10. There's still a 8-12 month wait for the coupe over here.

No offence meant, have you had a close look at the sellers other products sold in their 100% selling score?, bins, Nike slippers, ehh? and a few R8 Spyders to boot, I thinks not!

Still think the Spyders the car of the year though!

saw the one at the ny auto show today. i'll admit that i'm not a convertible fan so my observations are biased, but the back half reminded me a little too much of the lexus 2 seater
