    Trackers...guess what

**replacement cover for brake fluid reservoir is coming soon**

During the world premiere of the A8 in Miami in December I complained to the chief customer service manager for Audi AG that there was no access panel to the brake fluid reservoir on the R8. I had the President of the only Audi dealer in MN with me at the time. Customer Service Manager questioned me. I took him outside to the R8 that was being shown and opened the boot and showed him. He was surprised that there was no access to the brake fluid.

I received an email today saying they were sending me a replacement part so the brake fluid reservoir can now be accessed. When it arrives and is installed I will take pictures. No more do-it-yourself cutting up the access panel.

    Well done!

That’s how to get things done, now the next time you are in a position of influence like that ping us all for our suggestions on improvements and they may listen!

For starters, Move the bloody cup holders, most pointless idea on the R8!

Those "CUP" holders come in handy for holding my wallet, camara, and cell phone. Very handy for me . I would be pissed without mine. They work great for sodas and energy drink (small space between "CAN" holders). We really don't use cups too much in the U.S. \"/ I guess a pop out holder would be better, placed further forward?

True. I don't understand the 'cup holder doesn't belong' argument. I drink in my car, I eat in my car (not often,) and I always have something to put there -- cell phone, ipod, wallet, stuff...

I think all cars should have cup holders. These aren't race cars, they're regular cars for regular things. I'll never understand why people want to get rid of stuff like this.

wedouglas, you have misunderstood me, I too want cup holders, but not where my arm rests & it’s not an argument! It’s an observation that most R8 owners I have talked to agree with, even the salesmen at Audi agree! Why can’t they pop out above the glove box like on the 911?

Surely if you’re driving and changing gear (in manual) you can understand you knock the cup or can with your arm?
