I'm not sure if this tv episode has been on before (I believe this to be the first airing) but the Audi R8 episode of National Geographic Megafactories is on as follows:

March 24th 9pm
March 25th 12am & 3pm

Saw the Lambo Murci Megafactories episode last night, and really enjoyed it. I learnt something too, the wheel forging process was eye opening - starting from a 45kg billet, heating and stamping was not what I imagined the process consisted of!!

Must get me some forged wheels now!

I doubt it, since it was about the Murcielago . I saw Rich, at OEMPlus, say that the Murcielago wheels do not fit the R8, in his thread about wheels.

No they weren't, but interestingly they were made in the US....
