    Windshield Wipers

Detailed the R8 yesterday and noticed what I think to be the windshield wipers resting in the wrong position. What I mean is that when the wipers are off they seem to be in the ready mode...and I have tried turning them on/off several times. Now I am just questioning myself so wanted to see if someone could check to see if when your wipers are at rest(OFF) can you see any daylight under the right wiper from the driver seat??

My wipers sit 3/4 inch above bottom edge of glass. looking at outside. Seems if the wipers are left on they could self destruct on bonnet and such. One time I got startled when cleaning windshield.Wiper action started when I squirt cleaner. Must have a rain sensor . \"/

    Re: Windshield Wipers

my wipers rested a little high after I had a new windscreen fitted. I asked the dealer to adjust them on the spindle to be out of sight when driving - took him 5 mins!

The wipers rest slightly higher half the time. It parks them with the blades folded up every other time, and with the blades folded down the other half. To prevent the blades taking a set.
