I just couldn't take it any longer. I have a new AUDI in the garage!

As many of you know, we have been working on our R8 Twin Turbo program for quite a few months now. During that time I have had the pleasure of getting some seat time in a handful of 600+ horsepower Twin Turbo cars. What most of you probably don't know is that I am a long time Audi fanatic.

My daily driver is a 2009 S5 which is truly a fantastic car. It is the best daily driver that I have ever had in many respects.

I had given thought to buying an R8 a few different times over the past few years but was always a bit underwhelmed with the factory supplied power level so I could never quite bring myself to pull the trigger.

Well, my friends, since experiencing the combination of Audi R8 and Twin Turbos.............I just couldn't take it any longer. Today I took delivery of a black 2009 MT6 R8! I absolutely love this car! As soon as I saw it I knew it was the one I had to have.

I have my detail guy coming to get it cleaned up in the morning and I will be sure to post some pictures. I can assure you that you will be seeing lots of video of this car being put through it's paces over the next few months. Anyone up for a trip to Sebring next month?

Congratulations! As you have come to realize, the R8 is one well balanced machine that wears many hats. From track to touring, it does it all. And the TT version is the ultimate. Enjoy!!!

Thanks to everyone for their postivity. Her are a few pictures. After seeing it all cleaned up and taking it out for a drive I find that I am liking the car even more than I could have imagined. We all owe thanks to the guys at Audi for supplying us with such a fantastic car. Does anyone have any tips on how to upload larger file sizes? By the time I shrunk the pictures down small enough to post they were tiny.

Very nice. I like black with CF sideblades almost as much as Daytona Gray with CF sideblades.
