That paragraph right there sums up my feelings 100% whenever I see (and hear) an R8. There are many super cars in the city I live that hibernate during the frosty winters, but when the sun comes out, many of them, including F430s and 911s aplenty to play. But I think none other turns my head and locks it with my soul and mind uttering in unison to myself "just wait patiently...one day man,...one day".Originally Posted by Autoextremist Article
Could I be jaded? Perhaps. But if any car manufacturer has been that successful in making me lust for that automotive "high", I think Audi has done it, for now at least.
Furthermore, I was dismayed that BMW had abandoned one of the most focused, if not rather pretentious, mottos and instead adopted a rather bland and uninspired "Joy" motif. They had the right idea before that BMW is about cars, not trying to incorporate cars to create artificial "joy" in lives, get my drift?
