Rich-OEMplus, sent me into enemy territory...\"/

Rich sent me around the corner, from his shop, to get my slicks installed. I had to watch my Ps and Qs for awhile 'till I finally bonded with these dudes. They were'nt able to "safely" do the job. It was a very interesting afternoon, to say the least. Here I sit in Enemy territory. This is a Carerrra GT getting some regular maintenance. A very nice shop indeed. Too bad they couldn't "SAFELY" do the job THIS is the jack to own. PROFESSIONAL. Back to doing my brakes, this Sunday afternoon. The rears are shared with Ferrari 550, F 40, F 50, and Austin Martin DB7 (6.0). Made in the U.K.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EBC's C-YAAAAAAAA !!!!! British made with Ceramic/Kevlar fiber. Will report after an easy 100 mile break in.

Enemy?.. GMG is the first shop to make a custom exhaust fpr the R8 V10. They love the R8! Many months ago Fabrice wanted to do some steering setup changes with my R8. GMG are good people. They have a huge history with Porsche, but they work on any and all great sports cars. The R8 is just starting to evolve into the custom / racing after markets. GMG is one of the best in this type of service.

I see the full race Porsche Cayman of a friend of mine being worked on next to your car. Caymans and R8's are always something like mid-engine, blood-brothers to me.

    It wasn't GMG.

The problem they were having was related to mounting slicks onto street wheels. They didn't have a tire cage, so they wouldn't over-pressurize the tires to seat the bead.
