london vs ny r8s

on my current bidness trip from ny to london i've seen 2 r8s parked (black and dark maroon) on the street and one dark purple on the road. it reminded me that about 2 yrs ago when i first saw one near hyde park i knew that i was going to own one eventually. back on topic, i have never seen an r8 (other than mine) in nyc. also, in london you see lambos, ferarris, etc fairly frequently which never happens in nyc. maybe its the milder weather, less crappy roads or some hedge fund manager commuting dynamics?

forgot one other comment; black matte seems to be a popular color in london but i've never seen it in nyc. any r8s out there with this paint job?

The very first R8 I ever laid eyes on was in Stuttgaart, W. Germany on July 4 2008 It was a PPI street monster in Matte Black. Seeing/hearing that car changed my life...more than any other vehicle I have owned prior. I have had too many veh.s to list. And the freinds I have made with this car are PHENOMINAL !!
