P Zero Corsas being fitted this weekend

Upgrading my boots to P Zero Corsas this weekend having found a supplier who'll do a full set for £1,100. Can't wait to see what they're like on the Nurburgring next week and Silverstone the week after, especially when combined with the Pagid RS-29 (Yellows) brake pads i've also have fitted.

Great choice? Imo they are the best R-compound tires on the market.

I've ordered some P Zero Trofeo which are arriving in 6 weeks.

Would be great to hear what you think of the Corsas on a R8 once fitted.

Thats a pretty amazing price for a full set!! If you don't mind me asking, who's the supplier? Are you going Corsa Asimmetrico all round, or Corsa Direzionale front and Corsa Asimmetrico rear?

Presumably you'll not use on the road...

Since I don't need tires now, and may not for a while, I'm just collecting info. I don't track the car, but I would like to get the best overall performance possible when I drive the car in normal driving conditions (except on VERY wet roads, and of course not in snow!).

Are the P Zero Trofeo considered the best overall tire for my purposes?

I know that there are others used like the OEM P-Zeros (which I find are very noisy) or the Mich PS2s (which I heard MIGHT be the best overall use tire). But are the Trofeos actually a more desirable tire for me?

I've picked up a set of original rims from Singapore and just about to order Toyo 888 for track days...I'm looking for a tyre to drive to track days. Are you ordering the P Zero Trofeo for track work or road. Have you tried Toyo 888.

Cheers Conm..I am tracking both cars now.

The R8 is a weekend car for me so it gets a fairly equal workout of road and track.

I am primarily buying the Trofeo for track but also road use.Would like some Hossiers R6 but they are not legal on the road here.

Have never tried the 888 but I have heard good things about them.

FYI...the Trofeo are only a extra $300 per wheel compared to the OEM P ZERO

Tirerack recommends Corsa System Asimmetrico for the rear.

Pretty disappointed as I was informed today that the allocation for Australia of Trofeo stock as been redirected to another country(some race series?)

Have ordered a set of Corsas which are in stock.

Stevez have you had them fitted yet?
