Finally getting my car back

After a coworker backed into me recently, I will be picking up my car from the body shop on Thursday. It is amazing how well the repair was done. Happiness is getting my R8 back in time for cars and cafe.

Yes their insurance covered everything...except diminished value. I am considering an attorney to compensate me for the diminished value of the car. It will now show up in CARFAX as being in an accident. It will not list the severity of the damage. Even though it was just a scratch and two small dents. The entire bumper had to be replaced as a mounting clip was broken. I spoke with the dealer and he said it may reduce the value of my car for resale by as much as $20,000, depending on when I sell it. MN law does not have a provision for DV as far as I know.

Moving to SoCal would increase my tax rate burden to 99%. Great weather in SoCal. Traffic, taxes and more traffic and taxes make it no longer high on my list of places to live.
