2011 V8 or V10

First I am in the US so I think this might make a difference for my question.
Has anyone heard anything about that there won't be any 2011 V8 for the US market only V10? I have put downpayment on a V8 R-tronic car that my dealer is getting on a trade in later this year when the current owners spyder is coming in. I have always been driving sticks in all my sports cars and i'm not sure if I will like the R-tronic in it so I have been thinking of ordering a stick car instead. Anyone heard anything about this rumour. Of course i would love to get a V10 it is just a lot more money for me.

No. Most sources have reported a lower cost V8 spyder will be available late 2011.

So, the Solar Orange car you're waiting for has a R-tronic? If you don't want it, I'll take it. You can have my V8 MT6!

Have you driven the r-tronic yet? I would guess that there is a difference in feel being matched behind the V8 and V10. It took a bit of getting use to at first but I have really learned to like it in my V10.

If you don't think you will like the R-tronic don't get it. I made the mistake of getting a M3 SMG and hated it. Not knocking it just wasn't for me. Slapping the stick through the gate is half the fun of driving my car. Was talking to friend the other day who works at a lambo dealership the other day and he said something about if you don't have an order in now for a new V8 you are out of luck since all V8 to be made are already alloted.
