Anybody else taken their V10 out to the strip?

I visited Luskville Dragway near Ottawa, ON yesterday with the R8 V10 MT. It's a rather mediocre track, very bumpy and a really bad starting pad that is very hard to get a good launch on.

Oddly, it was my first pass that got the above time slip. Spent the rest of the night playing between ESP sport and ESP off modes, (and a couple of crappy passes where I forgot to turn ESP off) Lots of solid very low 12s, but nothing back in the 11s after my first run. Raced a friend who has a hotrodded biturbo S4 that runs very low 12s. Good fun, I went just wanting to get at least one run in the 11s, and got one. Probably never go back, but it's really neat to see what the car can do and in a safe, and fun environment.

MT, as mentioned in my first post. No launch control and a flappy paddle automagic gearbox for me, that would make it more like a amusement park ride than a sports car.
