Anyone have an S5?

I thought there was a thread on this, but "S5" is too short a phrase to search for. We're looking to get one to replace the GLI. Any feedback? Is it a good sedan tradeoff?

I should probably explain that. I take the GLI places I don't want to take the R8, but the power and handling just don't compare to the R8 so I was looking for something in between the two (I'd imagine the RS5 would be perfect but who knows when that'll actually get here).

Personally i think its the best combination to have, S5/R8. My other choice, and I'm waiting for Mercedes to release the e-class coupe in 4matic. I really dig that car, maybe even more so then the A5/S5.

isn't the 3.2 the SC one that's in the Cab? We tested the cab but didn't like it much (visually unimpressive plus it didn't feel much different than driving with the windows down).

It has better gas mileage than the V8, but slightly less power (20 HP or so)

HARRISON drove a 3.2L A5 and said it's very well put together - he wanted one as a DD.

I believe the 3.2 is NA, and only available in the A5. The S5 Cabriolet comes with the 3.0 litre supercharged engine.

Have you considered the S4? I just ordered one myself. 28mpg, S-tronic dual clutch transmission, reasonable rear seats, and a very nice sport differential. A very nice package from what I have read and the B8 is nearly as fast as the RS4.
