Velvet Pruple V10 finally home and clean!

Realize this combo may not be to everyones tastes, but sure works for me! Color is hard to photograph as it changes to blue/black/purple depending on the angles. Interior is Alabaster White/Black with carbon accents. Here are just a few quick pics of exterior and interior.

I like it Peter. Great use of the Audi Exclusive!

I wish I knew about it for my car....but the dealer didn't even tell me that it was an option. Oh well.

Hopefully we can get together later this summer.

P.S. I hope the work Blake's guys did prepping and detailing the car was good. I also hope they treat you a bit better than they treat me now that the job is done. Maybe you can help them with their people skills!

When I ordered Palace blue and Alabaster I figured the Alabaster white would be white not cream, don’t get me wrong, I like the colour its come in but did you think it would be more white from the small swatches we get to choose from?

The sample of Alabaster I got did look more "cream-like" than pure white. It for sure did come out more cream that I expected in the actual car, but in my color combo, I think it works better than a pure white.

Great color! The interior rocks. When you talk about the color shifting, is it an opalecense thing, or pearl I think they call it? Is Velvet Purple an Audi exclusive color, or did you have to describe and show them? And not wanting to be too nosey, how much did the paint and leather add to the bottom line?

Velvet Purple is an Audi Exclusive color. I think its the "pearl" that causes the color change. Its more of a subtle change, not like some of those colors that completely change from say green to orange

AE is NOT cheap stuff. We were under $25K for all the additional stuff. Probably silly money but I'm totally happy with it! Your dealer should at least be able to get you the AE order guide with options/pricing. If not, I can get you the AE reps info. She is in Virginia and is the one and only person in the USA that you talk to when placing the order - she works directly with you to configure the car and then coordinates with your dealer.
